The Monumental Armoured Samurai Warrior and Horse Bronze Sculpture stands at an commanding 450cm, presenting a galloping warhorse at full stride with a fully armoured rider leaning forward in the saddle, reins in hand, crests of the kabuto helmet swept back by the force of motion. This is public-monument scale, conceived for grand architectural settings where presence and permanence are required.
The sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, which captures every detail of the lamellar armour plates, the flowing mane and tail of the horse, and the ornate decorative crests of the warrior's helmet with exceptional fidelity. The surface carries a heavy all-over verdigris green oxidation patina, uniform across both horse and rider, giving the piece the weathered authority of a historic civic monument. The large multi-tiered rectangular stone plinth features a Greek-key meander frieze along its upper tier, adding classical architectural weight to the base.
At 450cm in height and 2,050kg, this piece is suited to grand exterior courtyards, estate entrances, institutional forecourts, corporate plazas, and palatial interiors with sufficient ceiling height and structural capacity. The aged bronze tone reads well against pale stone, dark granite, clipped hedging, and rendered or masonry facades. It is equally resolved indoors within reception halls, galleria spaces, or private collectors' rooms of appropriate scale.
Alternative patina finishes are available, including mid-tone brown, dark espresso, polished natural bronze, and custom aged effects. The sculpture can also be commissioned at a reduced or increased scale to suit your specific site. If you would like to discuss a patina option, scale adjustment, or a bespoke commission inspired by the work of a specific artist or historical reference, please contact us before ordering so we can scope the project correctly.
