Deep magenta fills the stool's upper back, and as the shell curves down towards the seat the colour passes through a band of coral red into a golden amber. The squared back has gently rounded corners, the seat is hollowed at its centre, and the front finishes in a thick rolled lip where the amber swirls with streaks of bright yellow and burnt orange. A chrome column on a round chrome foot carries it all, with a hoop for the feet and a height lever.
Two strong colours share the shell, and the interest lies in how they meet. Rather than stopping at a line, the magenta warms as it descends, turning coral and then red before the amber takes over, so the change reads like the last minutes of a sunset. Faint paler streaks run sideways through the magenta, giving the back a soft movement. In the seat the amber is anything but flat: thick swirls of yellow and orange move through the lip and catch the light at different depths. Polished chrome below reflects both colours in narrow bright slivers.
Standing 100cm to its crest, it suits a cocktail bar, a high café table or a kitchen island, and its warm colours are at their best beside white walls, pale oak and brass. Magenta is a confident colour, so a single stool can lift a neutral kitchen, while a run of them along a counter sets the mood of the whole room. Indoor use only.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. The point where magenta gives way to amber can be set higher up the back or nearer the seat, and either colour can be exchanged for another tint, so the shell can grade between any two shades you choose. Chrome with a mirror polish is the standard finish, though brushed stainless and matt black are offered too, and the foot ring is optional. A counter-height column can be fitted instead of the bar-height one. Each stool is boxed whole in its own crate with the shell already mounted, and it is easily handled by one person. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Magenta melting into amber is a colour story told across our resin sculptures; the stool itself belongs to our art furniture, and its gleaming stem to our metal sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
