Lilac & Teal Graded L-Form Acrylic Low Table - 75cm
Lilac & Teal Graded L-Form Acrylic Low Table - 75cm $2,69900
Description

This low table is a single thick slab of graded acrylic shaped as an L: the top runs out level, and at one end it turns straight down to the floor as a solid leg. Its open end rests on a matt white block set in beneath it, and the block comes with the table. The colour moves as you walk round it, lilac across the top and teal along the front edge, with the folded leg holding a deeper violet.

A Graded Slab Folded Down at One End

Grading a colour through a thick slab depends on the route light takes as much as on the tint: seen from above the top reads lilac, but along its front edge the eye looks through the whole depth of the material and finds teal, so one piece shows two colours depending on where you stand. The corner where the top turns down is the part to watch, because a grade that steps at a corner shows at once, and the faces are polished after the corner is made so the colour runs round it unbroken.

With one solid end and one open end, the table sits well beside a sofa arm, its folded leg turned out toward the room. The lilac and teal suit a pale grey or white scheme, and they shift with the light through the day, cooler in the morning and warmer toward evening. Put it on a plain pale floor, which lets the deeper violet of the folded leg stand out.

Grade Colours, Sizes and Delivery

Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The grade can be run in other pairs of colours, or reversed so the teal lies across the top, and the slab can be made clear with only the edge coloured. It can be made as a mirror image, with the fold at the other end, and the slab cut to any length and depth the room needs. The slab is crated with the white block packed beside it, and two people should carry the slab. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Lilac turning teal at the front edge belongs with our acrylic sculptures; a slab folded down at one end leads to our geometric sculptures, and an L-form table to pull up to a sofa joins our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
