The Life-Size Traditional Running Horse Bronze Sculpture stands 180cm tall and captures a thoroughbred in full gallop, all four legs airborne, mane and tail streaming back in a single arrested moment of speed and muscle.
Every surface of this life-size bronze horse sculpture is produced through the lost-wax casting method, a technique that preserves anatomical precision down to the individual striations of flexed muscle across the shoulder, haunch and cannon bone. The warm brown patina is applied and hand-worked by our finishing team, building luminous highlights across the barrel and topline while darker oxidation settles into the mane, tail and lower legs. The result is a hand-finished bronze equine statue with genuine tonal depth rather than a uniform factory coat.
At 180cm this piece commands serious architectural space. It reads equally well positioned on a stone-flagged terrace, at the threshold of an estate entrance, or anchoring a double-height interior hall. The warm bronze tones sit comfortably against natural stone, pale render, dark timber and aged brick. Given the weight of 700kg, a prepared concrete pad or reinforced flooring should be confirmed with your installer prior to siting.
Patina options include classic warm brown, cool dark verdigris, aged green, and polished bright bronze. Scale can be adjusted for commissions requiring a smaller statement piece or a genuinely monumental installation above 180cm. If you are considering a bespoke scale, a custom patina, or a paired grouping of horses, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm lead times and pricing.
