The Life-Size Traditional Eagle Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 200cm, depicting a golden eagle at the precise moment of strike: wings fully outstretched, talons locked around a coiled serpent, beak open in mid-call. At 300kg of solid cast bronze, this is a piece that commands space rather than simply occupying it.
Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, every surface detail on this large bronze eagle sculpture has been worked by hand. The feather articulation across the full wingspan is exceptional: individual primary and secondary feathers rendered with raised surface texture, transitioning from the warm brown and golden-tan tones of the body through to the deep brown-black of the wing tips. The head carries a distinct gold-toned patina, separating it visually from the darker wing mass and drawing the eye to the open beak and forward gaze. The coiled snake beneath the talons is finished with scale texture detail in natural bronze tones, providing a counterpoint to the eagle's more dramatic colouring.
This life-size bronze eagle statue is suited to grand architectural settings: entrance halls with double-height ceilings, corporate atriums, estate gateways, and formal garden terraces. The multi-tone patina reads well against stone, dark timber, and rendered masonry. It is equally at home outdoors on a prepared plinth or indoors as a centrepiece installation, and the bronze finish is naturally weather-resistant for year-round exterior placement.
We offer a full range of patina finishes beyond the traditional multi-tone shown here, including verde green, dark antique brown, and polished warm bronze. Scale can be adjusted to suit your specific site requirements. If you have an installation in mind that calls for a custom base or column integration, contact us before ordering so we can advise on the commission process, inspired where relevant by the work of classical wildlife sculptors working in the monumental tradition.
