The Life-Size Classical Goddess Lamp Bearer Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 240cm, presenting a draped female figure in contrapposto pose, her arms raised to support a tall ornamental torch lamp above her head. The composition is architectural in ambition, as much column as figure, with the lamp post rising from her hands in a continuous vertical line of finely detailed bronze castwork.
Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, every surface of this handcrafted bronze lamp statue carries the texture and nuance of hand-finishing. The body is patinated in a rich antique bronze with green-teal verdigris settling into the folds of the draped robes, while golden bronze highlights define the contours of the figure, the sandalled feet, and the acanthus-leaf detailing on the torch bowl at the column's crown. The lamp column itself features turned and knopped decorative nodes, and the two-tier stepped plinth carries a relief panel on its face, darkened to near-black with oxidation. This is a large classical bronze figure sculpture built to read at scale, indoors and out.
At 240cm, this piece commands entrance halls, double-height lobbies, grand staircases, and exterior forecourts equally. The antique verdigris palette sits naturally against stone, marble, and rendered plaster, as well as against mature landscaping and formal garden architecture. The functional lamp fitting at the top of the torch column adds a practical dimension: this is a sculpture that can illuminate the spaces it anchors.
Patina options include natural antique bronze, polished gold bronze, dark oxidised black, and site-specific weathered finishes. The height can be adjusted, and the lamp fitting can be specified to suit your electrical installation requirements. If you are placing this as part of a larger architectural scheme or wish to commission a mirror pair, contact us before ordering and we will guide the brief from the start.
