The Large Classical Cherub and Angel Tiered Fountain stands at an imposing 260cm and commands any formal garden with its three ascending tiers of winged cherub and angel figures, petal-shaped basins, and active water cascading from cornucopia to pool.
This three-tiered bronze garden fountain is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, which preserves every carved surface detail: the soft folds of wing feathers, the rounded limbs of each cherub figure, and the scalloped edges of the lotus-form basin bowls. The surface carries a deep, consistent aged green verdigris patina, the result of careful hand-applied finishing that replicates centuries of natural weathering. The effect reads as wholly authentic at distance and at close inspection.
Integral fountain plumbing routes water through a central figural column, feeding multiple spout points so that water sheets evenly across each basin before collecting in the circular pool base below. The scalloped pool surround is designed to complement period stonework, formal terracing, York stone, and clipped boxwood settings. This is a centrepiece piece: it demands open sightlines and a formal axis, whether in a walled garden, a classical courtyard, or a grand residential exterior.
Alternative patina options include warm natural bronze, dark brown wax finish, and polished highlight finishes. The overall scale can be adjusted to suit your specific site. For clients with particular site requirements or inspired by the work of classical European fountain sculptors, we welcome detailed briefs before production begins. Contact us before ordering to discuss your commission.
