Iridescent Stacked Disc Resin & Metal Sculpture - 60cm
Iridescent Stacked Disc Resin & Metal Sculpture - 60cm $2,70100
Description

A stack of iridescent resin discs, each held out on a short arm from a bronze-coloured metal upright that rises at one side. The discs change width as they go, broad at the top, narrow beneath it, swelling through the middle and narrowing again toward the foot, and their colours shift between red, violet, blue, green and teal. A broad round metal base holds the upright at one side.

Iridescent Discs Stepping In and Out

The outline is made by the discs alone, with nothing joining them but the arms behind, so that the shape is something the eye completes. Varying the widths gives the stack a silhouette, a rim, a neck and a full body, while the iridescent finish shifts each disc's colour as the viewer moves round it. The metal upright is kept straight, slim and plain at one side, so all the curve belongs to the discs and none of it to the frame that holds them.

A sideboard, a wide shelf or a console all suit it, and its colours bring life to a plain room with white or grey walls. Place it near a window or under a downlight, where light can play across the discs, and turn it so that the upright sits to the back and only the discs face into the room.

Disc Colours, Spacing and Finish

Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The discs can be made in a single colour, clear, amber or smoke, or graded from one colour to another down the stack, and the spacing set closer for a denser column. The upright and base can be finished in black, silver or gold. It is packed with each disc protected individually, and it is ready to display as soon as it comes out of its box. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Iridescent discs stacked to an outline belong with our abstract sculptures; colour that shifts across resin discs suits our resin sculptures, and a stack of colour for a wide console joins our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
