A console table whose top has rounded ends and rests on flat panels cut with tall arches and long rounded slots, with further uprights set inside the span. The material is dichroic: it holds no single colour but shifts through blue, teal, pink and amber depending on where you stand and where the light is, and it throws those colours onto the floor beneath it as well.
The colour on a dichroic sheet sits on one of its faces rather than everywhere in it, and everything about handling the material follows from that. Every panel has to be cut and formed with the coated face outward and tracked through the workshop - a panel assembled the wrong way round looks grey from the front and correct only from behind. It cannot be flame-polished, because the heat that clears an ordinary acrylic edge takes the coating with it, so every edge here is brought up mechanically through successive grades instead. The arches and slots are cut with the coated face supported on a full bed, since the coating will lift at a cut if the sheet is allowed to flex. No two panels shift colour in quite the same sequence.
Put this where people walk past it rather than where they sit at it: along a hall, across the end of a landing, behind a sofa. The colour shift needs movement to show, and someone sitting still in front of it sees only one of the colours it holds. A pale floor doubles the effect, since the piece casts its colours downward. It stands at a standard console height and will take a lamp and a tray without looking crowded.
In the workshop a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The panel cut-outs can be arranged to your own drawing, and the top can be squared off if the rounded ends are too soft. A plain tinted acrylic is available if the shift is too much for the room. The panels are bonded to the top here rather than assembled on site, because the coating cannot take a site-made joint being cleaned up afterwards. It arrives as one piece in a fitted crate with every face sleeved. Two people are needed, lifting from beneath the panels. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A surface that changes colour as you pass sits among our contemporary and modern sculptures; dichroic panels cut with arches open onto our indoor sculptures, and a piece to walk past on a landing joins our art furniture.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
