A pot flaring from a banded waist to a rolled rim, standing on three short cylindrical feet. The whole surface is matt, and grey and black marbling runs through the body in broad drifts. Its own three feet are what it stands on, and it is deep enough to plant into or to use as it is.
A matt surface hides nothing, and that is why the marbling here goes all the way through the material instead of being applied to the outside. A printed or painted marble stops at the skin, so the first scuff takes a chip of pattern off and leaves a pale spot that cannot be touched in. Drawn through the body, the pattern continues into the material, and a mark that removes a little surface simply exposes more of the same drift. The cost is control: the drifts are poured rather than drawn, so no two pots carry the same figure and none can be specified in advance. The feet are cast with the body and not applied, for the same reason.
At 32cm it is a floor or a low table piece rather than a shelf one, since the three feet lift it and the gap under it is part of the silhouette. Set it where that gap is visible: the end of a run, a hearth, beside a chair. Matt surfaces take light softly and lose nothing in a dim corner, which makes this an easier object to place than a polished one. Leave the floor about it empty, so the feet read.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. The marbling is run heavier or lighter and taken toward brown, the feet are drawn taller, and the rim is left unrolled. A polished version is made and is a different object entirely, since polishing brings the drifts up hard and the piece stops being quiet. It is also cast at other diameters, and a sealed liner is offered where it will be planted. It is sent in one box seated on its feet in a cut bed, and one person lifts it by the body and not by the rim. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A pot raised on three feet belongs with our art furniture; grey and black marbled resin leads to our resin sculptures, and a matt planter for a fireside corner joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
