Description

A compact windblown figure in grey green resin. A ragged crest is thrown back at the top, the narrow body twists upward, and the skirt sweeps round to a point at the foot. The colour is a soft, smoky green grey, strong at the crest and the foot and clearing through the body. A black marble block is included.

A Smoky Green Grey

Grey green is a calm, natural colour, like sea glass or lichen, and it suits a figure this size, which is seen close to. The smoke gathers where the form folds, at the crest and the swept foot, and clears through the body, so the figure has depth without heaviness. The tone is blended, never banded, and every piece is a little different. The surface is polished all over, bringing out the green in the grey. Close up, the smoke looks like mist caught inside glass.

It sits on a desk or a side table, or on a shelf at eye height, wherever something small and calm is needed. It suits green, grey and natural rooms, and sits well beside plants, stone and linen. Lamplight from the side deepens the smoky tone; daylight shows the green. It is a piece to enjoy at close range, and a restful one for a bedroom or a study.

Greener, Greyer, and How It Travels

Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. The colour can be moved towards green or towards grey, or carried right through the figure, and the crest can be left clear for a lighter look. The block can be had in white marble. The same design is made in blue, sold separately. A small crate brings it on its block, and it is light enough to lift out with one hand. It needs no fixing once it is down. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
