Green Twisted Blade Resin Sculpture - 120cm, a tall twisting green resin blade form on a black marble base, shown against a plain light grey background.
Green Twisted Blade Resin Sculpture - 120cm $2,90200
Description

A narrow blade rising from a stone foot and turning once through its full height, so that no two heights present the same profile. Green right through the column, at its deepest where the twist doubles what the eye looks through. The black marble block under the foot is included.

One Turn From Foot to Crown

A single turn through a tinted body changes the section continuously from bottom to top, which is why the green reports the twist with no edge cut anywhere to mark it, and why the profile you get depends entirely on which quarter of the blade is turned toward the room. A single twist through a green body changes the section continuously from foot to crown, so the colour reports the turn without one edge being cut to mark it. Both faces are polished and the leading edge is carried to the same finish, so it holds no line of its own.

It belongs in whatever narrow gap the room has left: a stair return, an alcove, the side of a door. A pale wall behind it, because the green is read through the blade rather than off its surface. A single source at one side travels up the twist as one moving highlight. The eye runs up the twist and finds a different profile from every quarter turn.

Another Pitch, and a Stone That Travels Apart

Work on a bespoke commission runs to 5–6 weeks, on a standard piece to 3–4. We will set the twist at another pitch, exchange the green, or cut the stone at another plan. Set another pitch and the height goes with it, because the blade holds its own section instead of being drawn thin to reach a figure. Blade and stone are crated together and meet for the first time on site. Two people for the lift, one taking the crown and one the foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A green blade turning once from foot to crown stands in our indoor sculptures; its single twist suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and its single green joins our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
