The figure in this resin sculpture sits cross-legged on the ground with a human torso and a rabbit's head above it, the long ears standing straight up. Both hands rest one over the other in the lap. Below the waist the folded legs make a closed triangle flat on the floor, so the whole of the piece below the waist is one solid shape and everything that happens happens above it. The resin is a translucent green, darkest where it gathers at the knees.
A cross-legged seat is a closed form and that changes where the work is. The two shins cross over one another with the feet tucked under the opposite thigh, so there are four tight interior angles that a flat tool cannot enter and that are all visible from the front; each is opened with a shaped point and polished from two directions, and on a translucent green any one of them left dull reads as a dark patch rather than a shadow. The hands in the lap are the finest passage on the piece, being small, overlapping and set against the thigh, and they are worked first, since once the torso is finished the arms stand between a tool and the fingers.
A seated figure at floor level asks to be met at floor level: the floor beside a chair, a hearth, the bottom step of a stair. On a table it is at the wrong height and the pose stops working. It faces one way and the composition closes from the front. Translucent green needs a window at its back: with light behind it the whole figure lifts and the ears go almost yellow, while a dark wall shuts it into a silhouette. A sitting room takes it, and so does a child's room: there is nothing on the figure fine enough to snap off.
Figure the difference between standard and bespoke at 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The green runs from this depth to a pale mint, and a blue, an amber and a colourless body are all made; an opaque finish is available where a solid colour is wanted. The standing figure is made to match. Hand and ear positions are settled at order. Any size is cut to order, above this one as well as below. The crate holds it seated with each ear cased apart and nothing needs putting together; two people move it, hands under the folded legs and not at an ear. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A rabbit-headed figure sitting cross-legged belongs with our rabbit and hare statues; a closed triangle of folded legs leads to our pop art sculptures, and green that lifts in daylight joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
