A slender green column with a rippled passage worked down the centre of both faces, cut flat at the foot so it stands on whatever it is put on. Green through the whole column at one strength, deepening where the rippled passage doubles the material. Nothing is supplied beneath it. The column is cut flat at the foot and stands on the surface it is put on.
Working the ripple down the centre rather than across the face keeps the column reading as one length instead of a stack of bands. Ripples run across a face divide it into bands and the piece becomes a stack. Run down the length, the same working keeps the column reading as one continuous thing and gives the green somewhere to gather without breaking the line. A rippled passage worked down a green body means the material is thicker along the ripple than anywhere else, and the colour maps that thickness without anything being added. Polished over the whole column, with the ripple taken to the same grade as the flat faces.
It suits a narrow shelf, a sill or the corner of a desk, since it takes almost no plan at all. It wants a quiet wall at its back, pale, because the green is read through the column rather than off its surface. Light from behind runs the length of the ripple; light from in front stops at the surface. The ripple changes what it shows with every quarter turn, which is what stops the column reading as a bar.
Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. The ripple can be run at another pitch, the green can be exchanged, and the column is made at other heights. Run the ripple at another pitch and the column is reproportioned to it, because a ripple that stops short of the foot looks like an accident. It is crated standing, which is how it should be unpacked: upright, and straight onto its place. One person can carry it the length of a house, though it is a two-handed lift out of the crate. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A slender green column rippled down its centre belongs in our indoor sculptures; its single clean line suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the green casting joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
