Description

An upright ring of frosted green resin, its broad band turning over on itself around a single teardrop-shaped opening. Green is banked deepest across the shoulders of the ring and along its foot, holds a softer grey-green on the outer edges, and clears to a misty, pale green across the face around the opening. The ring rests at the foot of its band on a black marble block, which comes with it.

Frost That Turns a Ring Solid

Frosted green, the ring reads as a solid object rather than as a band. A frost gives nothing back, so the room never arrives inside the body, and what you see is the shape and nothing else. Green is a heavy colour, and frosted it reads heavier still, which lets the ring sit firmly on its block instead of floating above it. The colour carries the form: it is deepest where the band turns over at the shoulders and the foot, and it clears across the face around the opening, so the twist shows as a change from dark to pale.

On its block it stands 55cm, which suits a desk in a study or a dresser in a bedroom, where a quiet object is wanted rather than a bright one. It is forgiving about what stands behind it, since the frost takes in nothing of the room. Under a soft light it reads as one solid green form, and under a hard one the twist prints a shadow inside the opening. From across the room it is a green ring and nothing else, which is what it is for.

Polishing It, and Getting It In

As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. The green is run toward blue, the surface is brought to a polish, and the marble beneath it is chosen in white rather than black. Polished, the green turns glassy and the room appears inside the band, and of all the changes that is the one that alters the piece most. The ring and its block are crated together, and the ring is taken up by the band in both hands, never by the rim. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
