Green & Magenta Flame with Teal Sphere Resin Sculpture - 45cm
Green & Magenta Flame with Teal Sphere Resin Sculpture - 45cm $1,82200
Description

A slender flame with a long blue tip, running down through green and yellow to a cup of magenta at its waist that holds a teal sphere like a jewel. Below the cup the flame turns green and yellow again and ends in a blue point. The flame's two halves turn in opposite directions about the sphere, as if spun round it. It stands on a slender black upright set into a black plate, and both are included with the flame.

A Teal Sphere Held in a Magenta Cup

The magenta is the surprise. Everything else in the flame is a cool run of blue, green and yellow, and then at the waist a warm cup of deep pink-red closes round the teal sphere, so the eye goes straight to it. The part above is drawn out long and thin, almost to a needle, while the part below is fuller and frilled at its edges, which keeps the piece from looking symmetrical. Turned a quarter round, the flame narrows to a thin line and the sphere stands out alone.

It suits a desk or a bookcase in a study, and its jewel colours sit well with dark wood and brass. Against a deep green or navy wall the yellow and magenta glow, and a small lamp above it brings up the teal sphere. In a pale modern room it becomes a single bright note, and among older furniture it reads like a curiosity from a collector's cabinet.

The Sphere, the Cup and the Tip

Figure the difference between standard and bespoke at 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The sphere can be made in amber, ruby or clear, and the cup in gold or violet instead of magenta, with the rest of the flame adjusted to suit. The upper tip can be drawn out further or kept short, and the frill below the cup made fuller or plainer. Wrapped in foam and boxed upright, it reaches you with every point protected and nothing to assemble. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A teal sphere held in a magenta cup belongs with our abstract sculptures; a long flame of blue, green and yellow suits our resin sculptures, and a jewel-coloured piece for a study joins our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
