Acrylic panels stand in file in this sculpture, each one cut to a skyline of its own, held in a black timber tray on short feet. Green ranges at three depths cross the front, their faces carrying the colour in fine strokes drawn from top to bottom; grey peaks stand behind them and two pale summits behind those. The green reads as the near ground, and the grey peaks sit well back from it.
At this size the piece is looked down into as much as across, and that governs the spacing. A long range on a sideboard is met square on, and the gaps between its panels are only ever seen edge-on. A piece like this, sitting on a desk or a shelf, is seen from above, and every gap is open to view down its whole length: a narrow gap would read as a join and the panels would collapse into a single striped block. So the gaps are drawn open enough to read from above, and the green ranges are given depth enough to hold their ground when foreshortened. The tray stands on short feet, which raises the whole landscape off the surface it sits on.
This is desk and shelf work: a study desk, a wide shelf or a low cabinet top, all of which put it at close range and usually a little below the eye. That is how it is drawn to be seen. It does want a plain field immediately behind it, since the pale summits are the palest thing in the piece and a row of book spines or a patterned wall takes them out. Daylight from the front, or a desk lamp set off to one side, throws the ranges apart properly.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. The number of panels, the gaps and every profile are decided per piece, so a version with three ranges for a narrow shelf or one with more ranges for a deeper reading are both from this design. Colour is a separate decision: this green with grey, a monochrome set of greys, a warm ochre, or clear panels reading as ice. Its tray can be built in pale oak instead of this black timber, and without feet where a flush base is wanted. Move it by the tray alone, with no hand on a panel. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A range in cut panels is abstract sculpture first and landscape second, acrylic sculpture in the panels themselves, and indoor sculpture because a timber tray is not made for outdoors.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
