This acrylic sculpture sets panels one behind another, each cut to its own skyline, in a black timber tray that leaves air between them. The three front ranges are a strong green with the colour drawn in fine vertical strokes down each face, so they read as wooded slopes; behind them grey peaks stand at many depths, two of them a darker grey, and the tallest summit is carried up above its neighbours at the centre. Its tray is no plain box either: the top edge is cut to a ragged profile.
With this many panels the work is not in any one skyline but in the set of them, and the rule that governs it is that no two summits may coincide. A peak that sits directly behind another peak is a wasted panel: it contributes nothing to the profile and the piece has carried the cost of cutting it. So the skylines are drawn together rather than one at a time, and each is adjusted until its high points fall into the gaps left by the ones in front. That is also what sets the spacing. Panels far apart give strong shadows and a stagey depth; panels close together read as one mass. The value ladder from green through the darker greys to the light ones then does the rest of the work, and it only holds because the profiles step clear of each other.
Long and fairly low, what this needs is an uninterrupted surface met square on: a sideboard, the top of a low cabinet or a wide shelf. From either end it collapses into a stack of thin sheets and the whole point of it disappears, so it should not be set where people mostly pass it sideways. This one has to be lit from in front and slightly above. Lit that way each panel drops its shadow across the range behind it and the depth accumulates, where a light at its back reduces every panel to a silhouette and the green and the greys become one dark ridge.
Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. Panel count, spacing and each skyline are drawn per piece, so a range of five where the surface is narrow, a set of fourteen with deeper recession, or a version worked as a single wide valley rather than a row of peaks are all available. The colour is decided with the order: this green and grey, a monochrome set in greys alone, a warm ochre, or clear panels that read as ice. Black timber is the standard for the tray and pale oak the alternative, and its sides can be run deeper so the gaps open out. It is carried by the tray, with both hands beneath it and none on a panel. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Mountains in flat planes are abstract sculpture before they are landscape, acrylic sculpture in every panel, and indoor sculpture because brushed colour and weather do not agree.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
