A cube standing on one corner with every face bowed outward, so that the outline reads as a curve wherever it is looked at and never as an edge. Green and blue drifting through the body in clouds, with neither settling into a band. Nothing is supplied beneath it; the piece rests on the corner it is cut to stand on.
A cube is the one form that says flat before anything else, and bowing every face is what takes that away: the shape is still read as a cube and nothing about it can be found to be straight. Standing it on a corner finishes the argument, because a cube set square on a floor has already told you which way is up. The body is hollow behind a thick wall, and that is what lets a cube of this size stand on one corner at all. The surface is polished over every face, and the faces are left bowed rather than trued flat.
It wants a floor or a low plinth in a hall, with two or three sides of it in view. A pale ground behind it, since the clouds of colour are read through the body rather than off its surface. Light from behind sets the clouds moving as you cross the room; light from in front stops them dead. The eye runs from one bowed face to the next and never finds a flat one, which is the whole of the effect.
Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. The bow in the faces can be taken further, the colours can be exchanged, and the wall can be cast heavier. Take the bow further and the corner it stands on is re-cut, because the standing corner is set by where the faces meet. One crate, and it is lifted out and set down on its corner in one movement. Three people. A cube on a corner has no good place to hold it and that is the difficulty. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A bowed cube balanced on one corner stands in our indoor sculptures; faces with no straight line in them belong with our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the green and blue clouds in the resin join it to our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
