A glossy figure of a woman in a broad hat, cast in clear resin clouded with blue. The blue gathers in the hat and runs down through the body and skirt in drifts, leaving clear passages between them, and the skirt trails out behind the single foot she stands on. Black marble is supplied beneath her and carries the figure.
Where the matt version is one flat blue, this one is clear resin with the blue drifted through it and polished to a gloss, so it is read by light as much as by colour. The drifts are densest in the hat and thin out towards the hem, which keeps the top of the figure heavy with colour and the skirt light. Highlights run along every turn of the body, and the clear passages show the drifts behind them, giving the figure depth. Each casting lays its drifts differently.
A landing, a hallway or a large room with a plain wall, where the figure stands alone at the end of a view. Light matters more here than on the matt version: daylight from the side runs along the gloss and brings the drifts forward, and a dark wall behind makes the clear passages glow.
Work on a bespoke commission runs to 5–6 weeks, on a standard piece to 3–4. The blue can be drifted more densely for a darker figure or thinned for a paler one, and another colour can be used in its place. Its block can be cut in black or white marble, and the skirt can be drawn a little further behind the foot before casting. The matt blue version is sold as its own piece. Figure and block share one crate, and one person handles it, holding the waist. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Glossy castings with colour drifted through clear resin fill our resin sculptures, and more tall figures to stand at the end of a view are shown in our indoor sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
