This cast resin lounge chair is one continuous mass. A domed back stands high and full, and from each side the arms wrap forward and slightly inward, ending in blunt rounded tops at roughly the height of the seat cushion. The seat is a broad dished pan. Four legs, thick and squared with softened corners, carry the whole thing clear of the floor with an open space beneath the seat. The material is frosted rather than clear, so the surfaces read as a soft milky white at the arms and darken through the depth of the back.
This chair has no separate parts at all. The domed back, both arms and the seat pan are one continuous mass, and the arms wrap forward and slightly inward from the back rather than being added to it, ending in blunt rounded tops. Its legs are squared with softened corners, four of them, and the space beneath the seat is left open, so the mass never reads as one closed block. The frosting is even across the whole surface, so the arms and the front of the seat read as a soft milky white while the back, where there is more material to look through, goes noticeably darker. That gradient is the only shading on the piece and it follows the form exactly.
This is a wide chair and it needs generous clearance, plus room at the sides for the arms. The frosting means it does not show what is behind it, so unlike a clear chair it reads as a solid mass in a room and should be treated as a piece of furniture rather than a transparent one. It suits a pale room and a plain floor. The open space beneath the seat keeps it from looking heavy. Indoors only.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. Most of it is the wrapped arms. Three things can change. It is offered clear as well as frosted, and tinted to a colour you name. The seat height is open, and the arms can be brought further forward or set further apart to suit the room it goes in. Tell us the seat height and the overall width. If the frosting across the arms matters across a pair, order the pair rather than the pieces. The packing protects the two arm tops; moving it wants four people. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Back, arms and seat cast as one frosted mass belong with our contemporary and modern sculptures; the lounge chair is seating from our art furniture, and a living room piece among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
