Frosted White Cast Resin Dining Chair - 73cm
Frosted White Cast Resin Dining Chair - 73cm $4,45200
Description

A frosted cast chair on three legs. The back is a broad panel with rounded corners and the seat a thick slab, and the legs are plain cylinders, two at the front corners and one centred at the back. Every edge is generously radiused and the surface is an even matt frost with no gloss anywhere on it. A short upright post rises at the centre of the back, in line with the rear leg, and shows through the frosted panel as a soft pale block. The whole chair reads white.

A Plain Frosted Chair on Three Round Legs

With no decoration at all, this is a chair meant to disappear into a room rather than be looked at. What is left is proportion: a back that is wide relative to its height, a seat thick enough to read as a slab rather than a sheet, and legs of a single diameter from top to bottom. The matt frost is the same on every face including the undersides, so light does not pick out an edge anywhere, and the chair holds a soft shadowless white from any angle. The post at the centre of the back is the only interruption, a quiet vertical in line with the rear leg below it.

At 73cm to the top of the back and with a seat at standard height, this pulls up to a dining table, a kitchen island or a desk, and a run of four reads as a set of soft white blocks around a dark top. Because it is translucent rather than opaque, a pale wall behind it makes the chair almost merge into the wall while a dark one throws its whole silhouette forward. It stands better on a hard floor than a deep pile rug, where the flat feet sink. Indoors only.

Frost Depth, Seat Height and the Diameter of the Legs

Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. Three decisions come with it. The frost, which can be this even matt, a lighter satin that lets more of the room through, or a clear finish with no frosting at all. The seat height, which is worth naming rather than accepting, since the standard is made for an ordinary dining table. And the diameter of the legs, which changes the character more than anything else on the chair: heavier cylinders read as a bench, slimmer ones as a stacking chair. Colour can be added to the mix for a tinted frost. Seat height, back height and the width of the frame are all quoted to order. One crate per chair, nothing to fit on arrival, and one person can manage it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Made for the dining room, this chair stands with our art furniture; its even frost relates it to our resin sculptures, and its soft white presence to our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
