Description

A frosted figure of a woman under a broad hat, poised on one foot with the skirt swept out behind her. The frost turns the resin a soft white, violet clouds the skirt and the hem shades into teal, so the colour deepens as the eye travels down. She stands at a single point of the foot on the black marble supplied with her.

Violet Clouding Into Teal at the Hem

Frosting takes away the transparency the clear versions depend on, and gives the figure a soft, even surface that holds colour like mist. Violet is clouded through the skirt and shades into teal at the hem, so the colour gathers at the bottom of the figure and the hat stays pale. Because the surface returns a diffuse light instead of a highlight, the figure is read by its silhouette and its colour rather than by reflections. The frosting is even over every face, brim and underside included.

Set it on a console or a deep sill, angled so the swept skirt leads into the room. A darker wall behind it suits the pale frosted body; against white the figure loses its outline. Soft, even light is kinder to a frosted surface than a spotlight, which can make it chalky, and a lamp placed low beside it warms the violet.

Colour Down the Skirt, and Delivery

Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The violet can climb further up the figure or stay at the hem, while the teal can give way to another colour. A clear, polished casting can be made in place of the frost, and the black block can be changed for white marble. The aqua version of this figure, clear and polished, is sold as its own piece. It arrives in one crate with its block, and one person lifts it around the waist, never by the hat. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
