Frosted Turned Profile Vase Resin Sculpture in teal, yellow, and brown, three tapered forms with stacked disc and ball details, on a plain white background.
Frosted Turned Profile Vase Resin Sculpture - 75/80/88cm $2,09000
Description

Tall vase forms in frosted, tinted resin, each with a profile of stacked shapes like turned wood, in three designs. The Teal Tapered is a slim cone above a disc and a ball on a short foot; the Yellow Trumpet flares at the top over a disc and a ball on a long tapered stem; and the Brown Bottle carries a tall neck over a disc, a ball and a full, rounded body. Each is sold on its own.

Three Turned Profiles in Frosted Colour

The three designs share one vocabulary, a disc, a ball and a long taper, arranged differently in each, so they read as a family when they stand together. Frosting softens the colour into a velvety glow and hides reflections, which makes the profiles read as pure silhouettes. Each is graded slightly, darker at the foot and lighter towards the top, which gives the tall forms a sense of lift. The shapes are crisp and symmetrical, like pieces turned on a lathe.

At up to 88cm they stand on a console or a sideboard, or on the floor of a living room or an entrance, alone or as a trio. Stood in a row they make a strong, graphic group against a plain wall. Backlit by a window, the frosted colours glow. They also look well on either side of a doorway or a fireplace.

Three Designs, Colours and Delivery

As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. Choose the Teal Tapered, the Yellow Trumpet or the Brown Bottle; each can be made in another colour, and the three can be ordered together as a set. Ordered in one colour they read as a single family; in three they make a lively group. Other heights can be made to extend the set. Every design is packed in a padded carton of its own and simply stood in place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Turned profiles in frosted colour belong with our contemporary and modern sculptures; tinted resin softened by frosting leads to our resin sculptures, and three slim forms to line up along a console join our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
