The slab is clear resin with a heavily frosted upper face and a circular recess sunk into it towards one end. It rests on two supports that have nothing in common: a stack of square-section bars at one end and a plain cylinder at the other, both in the same clear material. The bars are polished clear on every face, but the cylinder is frosted to a soft white down its length and left clear only in a narrow band where it meets the floor.
The frosting is worked into the mould face, so it runs the length of the slab and does not stop where the recess begins, and the recess is formed in the pour rather than cut afterwards. The supports differ in finish as well as in form, so the bars catch the light along every polished edge while the frosted cylinder holds it as a soft glow. Levelling is done at the supports, and getting a slab of this length to sit true on two unlike feet is the last and slowest part of the build.
Used for dining or in a boardroom, it needs a room that lets people walk both sides. The two supports are not alike, so decide which end faces the room before it is set down, and the frosted face wants light from above rather than across it. The recess sits towards one end, so it is worth deciding which side of the table that end serves.
Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. The frosted face is what fills the time. Three elements are left to you. The recess can be moved, opened up or left out, the frosting can be taken to a clear polish, and either support can be replaced with a second of the other kind. The slab length and the floor to top follow your figures. Put the whole order in at once and the pitch of the frosting across the face carries across every piece. The crate is built around the frosted face and the two supports, and four people should carry it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Carried on clear bars and a frosted cylinder, this frosted slab table sits in our art furniture; its unmatched supports suit our contemporary and modern sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
