In this resin sculpture a figure sits on a block of black marble with its bare feet together, and wears a hood with a pair of long ears standing up from it. In both hands, held out in front of the chest, is a metal hoop; the arms make a closed circuit with it that is the whole composition. The resin is frosted in a pale lilac rather than clear, so the figure holds its own colour, and the bare feet and hands are left a warmer tone.
Frosting is done in the material and not on the surface, because a figure gets handled at exactly the places a sprayed frost wears off first - the hands, the knees, the tops of the ears. The hood ears are the fragile part: they are long, thin and unsupported, so they are cast with the head rather than added to it and their section is graded from the base to the tip. The hoop is metal and is made to the finished hands rather than the hands to the hoop, since a gap between palm and rim reads as a mistake at any distance.
A seated figure at this height reads as a person in the room rather than an ornament on a surface, so it goes on the floor: beside a chair, in a bay window, at the turn of a stair. It faces one way and wants to be met head on, since the hoop and the hands only close from the front. The pale lilac stands out against a dark wall and recedes against a white one.
Whether it is standard or bespoke sets the build: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The hood is offered in this lilac, a soft grey, a cream or a black, and the exposed skin can be matched to it or left warmer. The hoop comes in this metal, a brass, a chrome or a black powder coat, and its diameter is set at order. Size is cut to order. The figure, its hoop and the marble block it sits on travel in separate cases and are put together on site; all three come with the piece, and the figure needs two people to lift it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A hooded figure holding a hoop belongs with our pop art sculptures; frosted lilac resin leads to our resin sculptures, and a seated figure for a quiet corner joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
