Frosted Green Stepped Ring Cast Resin Low Table (91cm) by Giant Sculptures, with concentric rings narrowing from a wide dished top to a small round foot, shown on a plain white background.
Frosted Green Stepped Ring Cast Resin Low Table - 91cm $7,29000
Description

In this frosted green low table, concentric rings step inward and downward from a broad top to a small round foot, and the top itself is dished inside a raised rim. The resin is frosted rather than clear and the green pales towards the top, so the piece reads as a stack of soft discs rather than as one turned form.

Concentric Steps Narrowing to a Foot

Each ring is turned into the mould and the hollow wall is held to one thickness through every step, which is harder than a smooth cone: a thin patch at a step shows from outside as a paler band. The frosting is worked over the whole surface and stopped short of a gloss, so the green stays soft and the steps read by their shadows rather than by reflections. The top is dished inside its rim and taken flat-bottomed so a glass sits without rocking. The foot is faced flat and true, and the piece stands without packing.

Put it before a sofa or at the centre of a ring of chairs; being circular, it can be reached equally from any side. The frosting takes no reflection and hides marks a gloss surface would show, so it suits a room in regular use. Green this soft wants a neutral floor near it rather than a competing colour.

The Steps, the Hollow Wall, and Getting It In

Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The stepped wall is the slow part. There are three decisions. Another number of steps can be made, the green can be changed for another hue or dropped for a colourless stack, and the hollow wall can be built up thicker. Top diameter and rim height are settled at order. Specify the whole group at once and the run of the steps is held through it. The crate is built around the top rim and the step arrises, and four people should carry it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Rings stepping down from a broad top to a small foot are why the stepped table sits with our geometric sculptures; in a lounge it is counted with our art furniture, its frosted green our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
