Frosted Glass Ring Top Resin Cone Base Table, 90cm, with a round frosted glass top and matt beige resin cone base, shown on a plain white background.
Frosted Glass Ring Top Resin Cone Base Table - 90cm $3,78000
Description

This frosted glass and cast resin table has a round top of frosted glass, a single concentric ring pressed into its centre, standing on a flared cone of matt beige resin. Against the white of the frosted disc the cone reads as a warm, quiet tone, and the two parts stay distinct from across a room. The price is for a single table.

A Pressed Ring in Glass Over a Beige Cone

The ring is pressed into the glass while it is hot rather than cut into it cold, so its edges stay soft and it catches light as a band rather than a line. The base is cast hollow, and keeping its wall even all the way round and up to the neck is slower work than casting it solid. The glass is frosted and the cone finished matt, each worked from a coarse grade upward and stopped short of a gloss, so neither surface throws back the light. The cone is faced flat where the glass beds on it, and the ring where the two meet is checked all round before they are joined.

Placed before a sofa or between two armchairs, it can be approached from any side, its plan being a circle. The frosted finish hides marks that a clear top would show and takes no reflection, so it sits quietly in a room that is already busy. A lamp set beside it shows the pressed ring better than a downlight does, since the ring is read by its shadow.

The Ring, the Hollow Base, and What the Price Covers

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. Most of it is the pressed glass top. Three choices are open. The pressed ring is run wider or left out, the glass is offered clear as well as frosted, and the cone is drawn to another flare. Neither the top diameter nor the base height is fixed. Several ordered together are worked so that the ring pressed into the glass agrees. The packing protects the glass rim and the cone foot; moving it wants four people. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A single ring pressed into frosted glass is the reason to look for this table in our geometric sculptures; before a sofa it fills a role in our art furniture, and the cone with our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
