This frosted cast resin low table is a single body of four lobes, a pair at either end, with a soft valley running down its centre where its two halves meet. Underneath, the material lifts clear of the floor in four arches, one between each pair of lobes, so the table stands on four rounded feet. The upper surface follows the same curve, dipping in the middle and rising over each lobe. The resin is frosted rather than clear, an even milky white that shades to grey where the form turns away.
The whole table is two shells joined along their length, and the join is worked as a soft valley down the centre rather than left as a line. That gives four lobes, two at each end, and four arches beneath, one between each pair, so the piece stands on four rounded feet without a single straight edge anywhere on it. The upper surface follows the same geometry, dipping at the middle and rising over each lobe. The frost is even across every face, and on a doubly curved surface an even frost is what makes the form readable: it shades from milky white on the faces turned towards you to grey where they turn away, and that gradient is the only shading on the piece.
Set before a sofa it makes a low table, and the four arches beneath want a hard floor to stand clear on rather than a deep rug to sink into. Being frosted it does not show what is behind it, so unlike a clear table it holds its place as a pale solid mass. That suits a room with dark furniture and looks weak in an all-white one. Two people can carry it. For indoor use.
Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. The four lobes are what fills the time. Three things are settled at order. The length is quoted to your figure, the piece is offered clear as well as frosted, and it can be tinted. The arch height can be raised a little, though taking it far changes the proportions of the lobes. Overall length and overall height are each specified. Ordered as a group, the pieces are worked together so the grey shading across the lobes lines up. The four open arches must be padded first, and then it is a four-person job to walk it in. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two frosted shells joined into four lobes stand low among our art furniture; the doubly curved form suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and a dark-floored room among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
