A frosted acrylic cylinder with a large open flower drawn around it in fine dark line and washed with soft pink, pale yellow and a grey-green leaf. Rose-gold rims finish the top and the foot. The cylinder lights: when it is lit its frosted surface glows evenly and the drawing stands out against it, while unlit it reads as a painted column of frosted white.
The drawing is done in a fine, slightly broken line, the way an ink sketch is, and the colour is washed in loosely, so it reads as a drawing and not as a print. Frosting the acrylic gives it a paper-like ground that softens everything behind it. The flower is drawn large, so only part of it shows from any one side and you turn the piece, or walk round it, to see the whole bloom. The rose-gold rims are kept narrow so that they frame without competing.
It suits a sideboard, a side table in a living room or the end of a hall, lit in the evening as a soft glow and left unlit by day as a painted form. It sits well with pale wood and linen, and the rims pick up brass or copper fittings nearby. Several in a row along a long sideboard make a soft run of light.
Production takes approximately 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The flower can be drawn as another bloom, a branch of blossom or a spray of leaves, and the washes made bolder or kept pale. The rims can be given a gold, silver or black finish. It is packed in a fitted box with the cylinder wrapped and its rims padded, and it can stand on any flat surface as soon as it is unwrapped. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A flower drawn in line on frosted acrylic belongs with our acrylic sculptures; a cylinder that lights in the evening suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and a soft glow for a sideboard joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
