Emerald Dripping Cast Resin Side Table - 66cm
Emerald Dripping Cast Resin Side Table - 66cm $3,23800
Description

An emerald cast resin side table whose top seems to be melting. The top is a round disc with a rolled edge, and from beneath it the material appears to run downward in four streams, each narrowing as it falls and ending in a bulbous drop that rests on the floor. Between the streams the space is open, but for a few short drips that hang free and stop well above the floor. The green is deepest in the band beneath the top, and it lightens to aqua through the thin part of each run and in the drops.

Material That Reads as Though It Is Still Running

Everything about this table is the moment the material stops running. The four streams leave the underside of the top at full width, narrow as they fall, and swell again into a drop where they meet the floor, and each drop is a different size and lands in a different place. Nothing about the four repeats. Because the green is translucent and the streams vary in thickness, the colour is doing two things at once: dense and almost black-green where the material gathers under the top, and a clear aqua through the thin middle of each run and the drops below. The top's rolled edge is the only regular line.

At 66cm the table stands above the usual side table height, which suits it beside a high-armed chair or at the end of a bed. The drips are the object, so it needs to stand clear rather than be tucked in, and it should be seen from the side and from below rather than from directly above. A pale floor is what makes the thin runs read; against a dark one they close up. Indoors only.

How Far the Drips Reach, and the Depth of the Green

Whether it is standard or bespoke sets the build: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The drip forms account for most of the work. Three things are yours to choose. How far the drips reach is the first decision, from these four runs that go all the way to the floor through to short stubs that leave the top standing on a visible frame. The depth of the green is second, from this emerald to a paler aqua or a smoke grey. And the number of runs, four as here or three, which opens the space beneath considerably. The diameter and the height follow your figures. A group is made from one batch so the tone agrees. Two crates, and the parts go together on site. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Emerald resin that looks to be still running places this side table in our art furniture; its falling streams share the mood of our organic sculptures, and the deep green casting that of our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
