A cube, a slab leaning across it and a square block beneath, each cutting into the others so that no one of them is complete. Blue holds the leaning slab and the block beneath it, the cube at the top is a smoky grey, and bubbles are caught right through the mass. Nothing comes under it. The lowest block is the foot and it is cast with the rest.
Solids cut into one another are a piece about the intersections, and an intersection cannot be adjusted after the fact. The intersections are the piece, and because the blues run into one another you read them as changes of depth rather than as edges, which is why the arrangement looks softer than it is. A cube, a slab and a block cut into one another have to be one body, or the intersections would be the first thing anyone looked at. Polished on every plane, and the planes run at three different angles to one another.
A console, a wide shelf or a desk, where it can be looked into rather than at. A pale ground behind it, since the blue is dense and needs something to read against. A beam that goes in at one face leaves at another, so the lit faces change every time the lamp is moved. The blue carries and the geometry does not; from away it is one dark shape.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. More blocks are set or fewer, the blue is lightened, and the angles are opened out. Lighten the blue and the bubbles read stronger, because they were half hidden in the depth of the colour. It arrives in a crate cut to its outline, resting on its lowest block, and comes out of the box ready to stand. Two people. It is solid through and heavier than it looks. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Solids cut into one another are gathered in our indoor sculptures; the bubbled casting belongs among our contemporary and modern sculptures, and more in blue and smoke is in our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
