A broad low acrylic sculpture leaning back on its own foot, cut into very few faces, each one broad enough that it holds a colour across its full width. Cyan crosses the middle of the piece, magenta gathers along one edge, a deep blue lies across the upper face on the other side, and there is a pale gold at the foot where the material meets the surface. The lean is part of the cut rather than an accident of how it stands.
Cutting a small block into very few faces is a decision about how much of the piece is one colour, and here the answer is most of it. That is a harder thing to bring off than it sounds. A face that carries a single hue across half the object has nowhere to hide: it has to be flat, its film has to be even end to end, and its angle has to be right first time, because there is no neighbouring plane to distract from it. Cut the same block into twenty faces and every one of those problems becomes twenty small problems, each of which matters less. The lean follows from the same logic: leaning the block presents the broad face to the room at an angle that returns cyan rather than the pale gold it would give standing upright, so the resting face is cut to produce the colour, not just to hold the piece up.
At 42cm this is shelf, desk and cabinet-top work. Because it leans back it wants to be seen from in front and slightly below rather than looked down on: a shelf at chest height, a low cabinet top or a console suit it better than a desk you stand over. The broad cyan face is what there is to see, so it should face into the room. Even, general light is enough here - a single hard source puts a bright patch in the middle of a large flat face, which is the one thing that spoils it.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The resting face paces this build: it is cut last, the lean of the whole piece follows from it, and it decides which hue the broad face returns. How many faces, how far it leans and which film go on the order: upright instead of leaning, or many more faces for a shimmer. Between films the choice is cyan and magenta as here, green-to-amber, or a pastel. Both hands go flat on two broad faces to lift it, and it is turned to front the room. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Few faces and very broad ones make this more block than gem: geometric sculpture for the cut, acrylic sculpture for the body, and the shelter of indoor sculpture.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
