Cream & Amber Windblown Figure Resin Sculpture - 75cm, an abstract twisting form in cream resin with amber accents, set on a black marble base against a plain white background.
Cream & Amber Windblown Figure Resin Sculpture - 75cm $2,22800
Description

A windblown figure in pale cream cast resin, with the skirt gathered behind it and the flare opening above, on a block of dark stone. Cream fills the body, and amber gathers at the turns of the waist, the skirt and the crown. The black marble block is part of what is bought.

Amber Gathered Where the Figure Turns

Colour that follows the form is what this figure is built on. The cream fills the body where it is broad and calm, and the amber gathers only where the resin turns: in the twist of the waist, at the gathered skirt and up into the flare of the crown, so the movement of the figure is drawn twice, once in outline and once in colour. Nothing interrupts that reading. Every face carries a full gloss, so the amber reads as depth inside the cream rather than as a stain on its surface, and it is a calm piece for a room where much else is already moving.

A sideboard or a console at about chest height. A dark ground. Cream needs contrast behind it or its outline softens into the wall. Light from one side lifts the amber at the turns; flat light leaves the whole body cream. The pale mass carries across a room, and the amber at the turns is for close range.

Spreading the Amber, and Delivery

Reckon on 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke one. The amber can be carried into more of the body or kept to the turns, the cream deepened toward ivory, and other heights are available. Spread the amber and the figure warms all over, which suits some rooms and loses the drawing the turns make. A frosted finish is also offered, and it softens the cream to the look of wax while the amber stays bright. One crate, on its stone, no assembly. One person at the block. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Pale figures with amber gathered at the turns stand among our indoor sculptures, the crown thrown back by the wind leads on to our contemporary and modern sculptures, and cast pieces in other colours fill our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
