This armchair is cast in a coral resin with a granular finish, its surface broken into fine sugary grains that catch the light like hoar frost. The back is a rounded tub that curves forward into two arms, and the arms run straight down into four squared legs. Beneath the seat, between the front legs, a pale frosted panel closes the front.
The finish is the whole character of the chair. Instead of a polished skin, every surface carries a dense granular texture, so the coral reads soft and powdery from a distance and resolves close to into thousands of tiny raised grains. The colour is strongest across the inside of the back and the seat, where the resin is thickest, and it pales towards the rim. The tub, the arms and the legs flow into one another without a joint, and the frosted panel beneath the seat is lighter again, almost white, which gives the chair a quiet base.
At 80cm it makes a dining or desk chair with presence, or stands alone in a corner as an occasional seat. The coral warms a white or grey room, and the granular surface keeps it from glare under bright lights. Raking light shows the texture at its best, and a plain floor lets the colour stay the focus. Indoor use only.
Reckon on 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke one. The coral can be taken towards a deeper terracotta or a pale shell pink, and the grain can be coarser or finer, or polished away entirely for a glossy chair. The front panel can be left clear or tinted to match the shell. Chairs ordered together are finished in one session so the grain and the colour agree. It is crated upright with the arms protected, and two people carry it in. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A coral armchair with a granular finish belongs among our art furniture; its textured casting suits our resin sculptures, and the chair our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
