Colourless Ringed Bowl Resin & Mirror Coffee Table - 118cm
Colourless Ringed Bowl Resin & Mirror Coffee Table - 118cm $14,65700
Description

This cast resin and steel coffee table is topped by a wide shallow bowl whose inner face carries concentric rings spreading from a small centre out to the rim, as water rings out when a drop falls into it. The bowl narrows to a stem and the stem meets a mirror-polished steel disc that sits flat on the floor. Every face of the resin is dimpled with a fine irregular texture except the ring pattern itself, which is smooth. The steel disc reflects the underside of the bowl, so the piece appears to stand on its own image.

Rings in a Bowl Above a Mirror

Three surfaces, three treatments. The inner face of the bowl carries concentric rings running from a small centre out to the rim, smooth and precise, the one ordered pattern on the piece. The outer face of the bowl and the stem are dimpled all over with a fine irregular texture that scatters light. The steel disc is mirror-polished and flat. Because the resin bowl is hollow behind a substantial wall, it is far lighter than it looks, and the mirror underneath does something no other base would: it returns the underside of the bowl, so the piece stands on a reflection of itself and the join at the floor is hard to find.

It belongs in the middle of a seating group with generous clear floor on the approach side. The mirror base returns whatever is above and around it, so a clean floor matters more here than with most pieces. The ring pattern reads from above, which makes a position people look down on the right one. Light from the side lifts the dimpled outer face. Four people to place. Indoors.

The Bowl, the Mirror, and the Order

Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. Most of it is the ringed bowl. Three things are open at order. The bowl is offered tinted, the ring count can be changed, and the base is available in brushed steel if a mirror is not wanted. The bowl diameter and the overall height are both quoted to your figures. Top diameter and overall height are made to the figures you give. For a matching group, the spacing of the rings in the bowl is set once and carried through it. In transit the wide bowl rim and the mirror disc must be boxed away from the sides; four people to set it down. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A mirror disc under a ringed bowl gives this table a place among our stainless steel sculptures; in front of a sofa it works within our art furniture, and a seating group is where our indoor sculptures set it.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
