Every part of this bar stool's shell is blue, but the blue keeps changing. The crest is a deep cobalt; below it the colour opens into paler bands streaked across with fine lines, then gathers again, until the shell rolls forward into an inky navy lip. The back is square-shouldered with eased corners, and the whole shell is carried on bright chrome: a gas-lift pillar, a foot rail and a round base.
Banding gives this shell its character. Horizontal streaks of paler blue cross the back like light on water at dusk, and each band holds a slightly different depth of tint, so the shell looks layered rather than evenly coloured. At the front lip the navy is so dense that it reads almost black until light catches it, when a deep blue glow shows along its edge. Against that weight the polished chrome of the column and foot ring looks especially bright, and the whole stool has the cool, finished look of a cocktail bar after dark.
At 100cm it brings a seat up to the level of a home bar or a cocktail counter, and it is at home in a darker scheme: navy or charcoal walls, brass fittings and marble tops. In a white kitchen it becomes a strong accent, and under low evening light the navy lip all but disappears, leaving the paler bands to glow. Indoor use only.
Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. The blue can be cast more evenly for a calmer shell or banded more strongly, and the navy at the seat can be taken right through to black. A polished chrome stem is standard; stainless with a brushed grain, or a matt black, can replace it, and you may do without the foot rail. The gas lift is matched to a counter or to a bar. It travels upright in an individual crate and is ready to use the day it lands; carrying it in takes one person. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Night-blue casting places this seat with our resin sculptures; its mirror stem places it with our metal sculptures, and its everyday use with our art furniture.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
