Description

A tall windblown figure cast in water-clear resin. It twists up from a pointed hem, sprouting little blade-like fins as it rises, and ends at the top in a ragged crown blown sideways like a flame. With no colour at all, the figure is traced by its highlights, which run up every ridge and flash along the fins as you pass. Its base is a black marble block, which is included.

A Tall Figure Traced in Highlights

Clear resin at this height turns the figure into something close to ice. The room shows through the twisting body, bent and broken by the ridges, so the piece changes with everything around it. That makes the polish critical: every ridge and fin has to be worked to a bright line, or the figure loses its edges. The black block gives the clear form a firm dark footing, and the crown, with no colour to weigh it, seems to float. It is a quiet, cool presence in a warm room.

Give it a place in a hall, on a landing or beside a window, standing on the floor or on a long console. Because it takes its tone from its surroundings, it sits well in a room already full of colour. Daylight from one side sets the ridges sparkling, and at night a spotlight from above turns the crown to a flare of light. A dark wall behind it traces the outline clearly.

Tinted, Frosted, or Left Clear, and Delivery

Work on a bespoke commission runs to 5–6 weeks, on a standard piece to 3–4. The resin can carry a light tint, or the surface can be frosted to a soft white, and colour can be given to the crown while the body stays clear. White marble is available for the block. Teal and smoke grey versions of the design are sold as separate pieces. It is delivered in one crate and needs two people to unpack and place it, holding the block and guiding the figure upright. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Colourless resin traced in highlights, as here, runs through our resin sculptures; the tall, twisting, ice-like form continues in our contemporary and modern sculptures, and pieces that suit a landing are gathered in our indoor sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
