The whole table is cast in clear resin as a block of water: the top is rippled across its full face and the four legs are drawn down out of the underside, tapering as they go, as though the block were melting and the drips had set. There is no joint anywhere on it and nothing has been added to it.
The ripple across the top is worked into the mould rather than ground in afterwards, which is why it runs the full width without stopping at a line. The four legs are drawn down out of the same body as the top and taper to a foot, and holding an even section through that draw is what sets the schedule. Nothing is joined and nothing is coated: every surface is polished from a coarse grade through to a mirror, including the undersides of the legs where they meet the floor.
It makes a coffee table for a wide sofa to look across, or for the gap between two armchairs facing each other. The legs are the reason to have it, so it works standing clear on a hard floor where they can be seen, and a deep rug will hide the feet and take half the piece with them. Its rippled surface sits just under the seat line of most sofas.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The melting leg form sets the pace here. Three elements are left to you. The drip legs are drawn to whatever length you want under the block, the ripple can be worked deeper, and a tint can be put through the whole casting. Top length and leg height are each specified. Several ordered together are worked so that the pull of the melting legs agrees. Its crate is shaped round the four melting feet and the top arris, and four people lift it from there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
For legs that seem to melt down out of a rippled block of clear water, see this coffee table in our art furniture; the dripping form is also found among our contemporary and modern sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
