This side table is made of clear resin and polished brass. The top is a thick disc of clear resin with a rounded rim, and it flares outward well past the column beneath it. That column is a plain cylinder whose whole surface is worked into soft vertical undulations, so it reads as poured rather than turned. Set into the centre of the top, over the column, is a polished brass dish with a flat rim, and a brass ring runs round the foot at the floor. The resin is solid throughout and everything but the brass is clear.
Two pieces of brass are the whole discipline of this piece. One is a dish sunk into the top face where the column meets the disc; the other is a ring round the foot at the floor. Between them everything is clear and everything is soft: the column's surface is worked into vertical undulations that run its full height, so it catches light in broken vertical bands rather than a single sheet, and the disc above flares well past it with a rounded rim that gathers a bright line the whole way round. The brass gives the only hard edges and the only opaque material on the object, and putting it at each extremity is what stops a soft clear form from looking unfinished. It is solid throughout, which is why it weighs what it does for its size.
Low and broad-topped, it serves beside a seat, and the wide disc gives it more surface than its height suggests. The brass picks up warm light and ties the table to brass fittings or to timber. The undulating column wants light from the side rather than overhead, which is what separates the waves. It is solid and heavy for its size, so choose the spot before setting it down. Indoors.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. Three elements are left to you. The resin is offered tinted, the brass of the dish and the foot ring can be swapped for brushed steel or a deep bronze, and the undulation on the column can be run deeper. The top diameter is open. You name the top diameter and the column height. Order more than one together and the run of the undulations in the column is matched across them. Crated with the overhanging disc and the brass protected, it is a two-person lift. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear undulating column between a brass dish and a brass foot ring makes this side table one for our art furniture; a soft clear form held by hard brass edges suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the brass, warm beside timber, ties it to our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
