Square from the front and slim from front to back, this block of high-clarity resin frames a small dried botanical within a wide clear margin. It might be a flower head, a scatter of petals, a curled leaf or a seed pod, in the muted ochres, ambers, golds and russets that dried plants hold on to. What it holds varies from one block to another.
The block is high-clarity resin, polished on every face to a glassy finish, with sharp edges and square corners. Its broad front and back frame the specimen like a mount in a small window, while the narrow sides offer a second, edge-on view of it. Dried botanicals keep their own textures, from the papery frill of a petal to the ribbed skin of a pod, and their colours are the soft, earthy ones that plants settle into as they dry. Being natural, no two specimens match, so every block is an original.
Slim enough for a narrow shelf, a mantelpiece or a windowsill, it is just as much at home on a desk or a bedside table. At 14cm it suits a bookshelf, standing among the spines like a small framed specimen. A window behind it shows the botanical against the daylight, while lamplight brings out its ambers and golds. Indoor use only.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. Each order is for a single block, sold individually. An everyday dried specimen is included in the price, but a special inclusion is charged separately, and the block can also be made in other proportions or as a true cube. Wrapped in soft film and packed into a snug, foam-lined box, it can stand on its shelf within minutes of the lid coming off. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Square-faced and slim, this clear block with its single dried specimen joins our resin sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
