This cast resin sculpture carries its weight on all four legs with the head turned to one side, and the antlers do not rise: they reach out almost horizontally, which makes the piece far wider than a stag of this height usually is. The body is optically clear resin with no tint at all, so what registers across a room is the outline of the back and the reach of the antlers.
Antlers carried sideways are a different problem from antlers carried up. Upright antlers stand over the skull and their weight goes down through it; these reach out past the head, so the load arrives at the join as a bending force and the join has to be made to take it. Each antler is therefore pinned into the skull and bonded, not bonded alone, and the pins are set on the axis the antler actually pulls along. They are made as a matched left and right rather than one pattern used twice, since a mirrored antler reads as wrong even to somebody who cannot say why. The body is filled from the hooves upward so no air is trapped in the chest.
At 137cm it stands on a floor where people can walk round it, because the sideways antlers change the whole silhouette between a front and a side view. That also decides where it cannot go: measure the antler spread rather than the body, and keep it out of a doorway line and away from a corridor where somebody will catch a shoulder on it. It reads strongly against a dark wall and almost vanishes against a white one.
Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. Antler carriage is set at order, from this sideways reach to a full upright rack, and it is the single choice that changes the footprint most. The head angle is open. The resin can be tinted right through - a green, an amber, a smoke or a pale blue - and a frosted finish is offered where a polished one throws too much light. Size is cut to order. Delivery is one crate holding the body and the antlers apart from each other; they join on site without tools, the body needing two people and each antler one. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A stag whose antlers reach out sideways belongs with our deer statues; a head turned aside leads to our figurative sculptures, and untinted clear resin joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
