A dining chair in clear acrylic with a tall back cut away in a deep curve on each side, so it narrows to a waist and opens again at its top corners. The seat is a deep upholstered cushion in a slate grey-green, set into a clear frame, and the legs taper away beneath it, the front pair straight and the back pair raked outward.
The curves cut into the back give the chair its outline, and on clear acrylic they are read entirely by their edges, so each one is cut in a single sweep and polished until it carries an unbroken line of light. The back is left as one flat sheet so that the outline does all the work. The cushion sits in a clear frame that holds it just proud of the legs, and the raked back legs give the chair a steady stance without adding any visual weight.
At 92cm the back rises well above a dining table, which suits a formal dining room or the head of a long table, and a single chair makes a quiet occasional seat in a hall or a bedroom. The slate seat sits easily with grey, white and pale timber, and the clear frame lets a patterned rug show through it.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. The seat can be upholstered in another colour or fabric, velvet, linen or leather among them, and the curves in the back cut deeper or gentler. Each chair carries its own price, and seating a whole table just means ordering the number needed. Each comes assembled in its own fitted carton, light enough for a single carrier. The legs can be made in smoked acrylic for a softer outline. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A tall clear back with a scoop cut from either side belongs with our art furniture; a slate cushion held in clear acrylic leads to our acrylic sculptures, and a tall-backed seat for a formal dining room joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
