The console's top is a sheet of clear resin rippled like moving water, its edge following a loose, flowing line, and it stands on clear legs shaped as rough rock forms, each flaring at the floor into a broad, uneven foot. No two legs are alike, and each is creased and faceted like stone split from a cliff.
Each of the six legs is modelled individually, so they differ from one another and none is a copy of its neighbour. Hand-modelled feet never come out at the same length, so the last of the work is spent levelling each broad foot in turn until the whole top lies on a true plane. The flowing edge of the top is a cast edge and is polished all round, under the lip as well as over it, since a clear edge at this length is read from beneath as often as from above.
A console this long wants an unbroken wall, or a floor it can be walked all the way round. The legs stand in from each end, so allow for the overhang against a skirting, and the rippled top wants light from above rather than across it. It is an entrance or a hall piece before it is a dining-room one.
Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The rock leg work is the slow part. Ordering settles three things. The leg count can be taken to eight for a longer top, the rock forms are drawn to order, and the top edge can be run straight instead of flowing. Both the top length and the floor to top are yours to set. Batched together, the pieces are made so the shape of each rock leg corresponds. The packing protects the flowing top edge and the broad rock feet; moving it wants four people. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Rough rock legs under a top rippled like water lead this console to our art furniture; the craggy legs also suit our contemporary and modern sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
