This counter table sets a black peaked rock on a slab of clear resin, standing right over the wider of its rough-hewn black pedestals, so the peak and its pedestal read as one dark mass seen through the clear top. Across the slab the surface rolls in long ripples, and the edge undulates with them instead of breaking into a crushed line, so the top reads like water moving past the foot of the rock.
The slab face here is worked as a running ripple and the edge follows it in a wave, both modelled into the mould rather than ground in afterwards. Neither pedestal matches the other and both are worked in fibreglass to their own outline, and the peak on the top is positioned from the wider of the two rather than from the ends of the slab. The span between the two pedestals is what governs the section the slab is cast to, and the top is checked against a straight edge before the peak is set on it.
Made to counter height, it is met from a stool rather than a dining chair, and it belongs in a breakfast room, a bar or along a run of kitchen units. The peak marks one end of the table, so decide which way it should face before the slab is set down. The two pedestals bear on small footprints, so a hard floor suits it better than a rug.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. The rippled slab face is the slow part. Specify three things and the rest follows. The slab can be cut to another length, the pedestal outlines are drawn to your brief, and the resin can carry a tint. Slab length and pedestal spread are cut to your figures. Tables ordered at the same time share one ripple pattern across their tops. Nothing bears on the wavy slab edge and the peak foot in transit, and four people are enough to place it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Black peak over rippled clear resin makes this a high table in our art furniture; its rough pedestals relate it to our fibreglass sculptures, and its place is indoors with our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
