A clear resin seat with a rippled surface and a curved back sits on a polished stainless steel gas-lift column, with a footrest ring part way down and a broad round base on the floor. A lever under the seat raises and lowers it, and the seat swivels on its plate, so it turns with the sitter at a bar or a kitchen counter.
The seat is cast in clear resin with a gentle ripple over its whole surface, and the back rises from it in a single curve. Beneath it, a swivel plate joins the seat to a gas-lift column in polished stainless steel, and the lever that sets the height sits under the seat within reach of a sitter. The foot ring and the round base are polished to match the column, and the base is broad, which keeps the stool steady at whatever height the seat is set.
It belongs at a kitchen island or a home bar, where the gas-lift lets each stool be set to the counter and to the sitter. Clear seats keep a run of stools light to look at along a counter, and the swivel lets a sitter turn to talk without moving the stool. The round base needs a hard floor. Indoor use only.
As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. The seat can be tinted instead of clear, and the column and the base can be finished in brushed steel or a dark tone instead of polished. The foot ring can be set at another height on the column. Stools ordered together are made with matching seats. Each stool is boxed on its own with the seat padded clear of the lid, ready to stand at the counter as soon as it is unpacked. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear rippled seat on a steel gas-lift column gives our art furniture a bar stool; the seat sits with our resin sculptures, the polished column with our metal sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
