This armchair is cast in colourless resin. The back is a tall shaped panel with two rounded openings cut through it and a pair of raised horns at the top corners. From each side a slim rail curves forward and outward to form an arm. The seat is a separate upholstered cushion in tan leather, and the arm rails carry the same tan, so the chair reads as clear glass with two warm lines drawn through it.
The chair is made of two quite different things, and neither is disguised as the other. The frame is a colourless casting: the back panel with its two openings, the four tapering legs, and the arm rails, all of one piece and all reading as thick glass, so the room shows through the chair and the openings in the back read as bright holes. The seat is not cast at all. It is an upholstered cushion, tan leather over a printed core, sitting into the frame as a distinct object with a soft rolled edge, and the arm rails are finished in the same tan. That gives the chair its only colour, a level band across the seat and a rising curve at each side, and the eye joins them across the clear frame. The two horns at the top of the back are solid and clear and stand well above the panel between them.
At 83cm to the top of the back with the seat at dining height, this is a carver rather than a side chair: it has arms, and the arms will not go under a standard table apron, so it works at the head of a table, at a desk, or on its own in a bedroom or a hall. The clear frame means it takes up almost no visual space, which suits a small room, while the leather keeps it from disappearing entirely. It looks best with something plain behind it, since the whole back is see-through and a busy wall reads straight through the openings. Indoors only.
Whether it is standard or bespoke sets the build: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The seat is the part with the choices: the leather can be this tan, a black, a cream or a deep green, and it can be plain as here or stitched in panels. The openings in the back are the second decision, from these two rounded holes to a single tall one or a solid panel with none, which changes the chair from an open frame to a screen. And the arm rails, which can carry the leather as here, be left clear to match the frame, or be left off altogether for a side chair. Frame height and seat depth are quoted to your figures. The chair arrives complete with its cushion fitted, in a single crate. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear cast frame dressed in tan leather makes this armchair one of our art furniture; the colourless resin relates it to our resin sculptures, and as a seat for the home it belongs among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
