A chair cut from clear acrylic in the outline of a classic French medallion-back chair: a round back on a slim neck, a flat seat and curving legs, every edge of the legs picked out in black. The round back and the seat carry a bright abstract print of interlocking shapes in red, pink, blue, yellow and green, and small roundels sit at the corners of the seat.
The chair borrows the most recognisable outline in French furniture, the medallion back and curving leg, and makes it out of flat clear sheet, so the form is there but the weight is gone. The black edges on the legs draw the classic silhouette like ink on glass, and the printed panels turn the back and the seat into pictures, bright and graphic, which makes the chair read as much as an object as a seat. The roundels at the seat corners echo the medallion above.
It suits a living room, a bedroom, a dressing area or a hall as an accent chair, and a set works around a dining table where a bold note is wanted. Place it against a plain wall, which lets the print and the clear outline read. In daylight its clear frame almost disappears and the printed panels seem to float.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. The print can be replaced with another design or a single colour, and the edges can be picked out in white or gold, or left clear. A single-colour print gives a calmer chair that suits a set. The black edging can also run round the back and the seat for a bolder outline. The chair is delivered whole in a padded carton, light enough for one person. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A medallion-back outline cut from clear sheet belongs with our art furniture; a bright abstract print on the back and seat leads to our acrylic sculptures, and an accent chair for a dressing area joins our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
