Clear Leaf Top Spiral Pedestal Round Dining Table (150cm) by Giant Sculptures, scalloped clear resin leaf-shaped top on a matt black ribbed pedestal base, shown against a plain white background.
Clear Leaf Top Spiral Pedestal Round Dining Table - 150cm $17,61900
Description

Across the clear resin top of this round dining table, veins run out from an off-centre origin towards a scalloped, irregular rim, raising and dipping the whole sheet as they go, so the surface reads as a broad leaf rather than as a disc. Beneath it stands a waisted pedestal in matt black, its fine ribs spiralling as they flare to a round foot. At this diameter one vein runs most of the way across.

A Leaf Top on a Spiralled Pedestal

The veining is cut into the mould and runs out from an origin placed to one side, so no two edges of the top present the same pattern. At this diameter the sheet has to be brought to a true plane after it has cured, and it is checked against a straight edge across its whole width before the pedestal goes under it. The pedestal's ribs are spiralled rather than run down the flare, so the pitch has to hold while the section turns and widens at once. It is finished matt and faced flat where the top beds across its full diameter.

It is a round dining table for a big household, and with no ends to it, nobody is left sitting at the foot. At this diameter one vein runs most of the way across the top, so which side faces the room is a real decision. The pedestal leaves the floor clear to the foot, so chairs come in from any side without meeting a leg.

The Veins, the Spiral, and Bringing It In

Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. Most of it is the spiral rib work. At order, three things are open. The vein count is open, the spiral can be run at another pitch or dropped for a plain flare, and the pedestal is offered polished as well as matt. Top diameter and foot span are quoted to whatever you need. The group is made as one so that the radiating vein pattern reads the same on each piece. The scalloped edge and the pedestal flare are boxed clear, the top and the pedestal travel apart, and four people bring it in. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Spiral ribs rising up a black pedestal link this leaf-topped table with our stainless steel sculptures and metal sculptures; laid for a family meal, it sits in our art furniture.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
