A hanging pod in clear acrylic: a globe ringed round its middle by a slim metal band, hung from that band on two slim metal rods that rise one from either side. At its foot the globe closes into a deep brown bowl, flat across the top, which gives the clear shell a floor of its own. Because the shell is clear, whatever is behind and below it shows through, and the band and rods draw two warm, bronze-toned lines against it.
The design rests on one contrast. The globe is clear and unbroken to the eye, so it reads as a volume of air with an outline, and against it everything solid is drawn in a few strong lines: the band round its middle, the two rods rising from it and the dark bowl closing its base. Hanging the globe by its middle rather than from the top leaves the whole upper half clear, so the dome stays unbroken from one side to the other. The bowl does the opposite job to the shell: dense and dark where the shell is clear, it gives the eye a floor to rest on and the whole pod a weight at its foot.
At 223cm from the top of its rods to the foot of the bowl, it needs a room with height to spare: a double-height hall, a stairwell, a conservatory or a gallery, where people pass both beneath it and beside it. It hangs, so a sound fixing overhead is the first thing to settle, before anything about the room. It reads best against something plain, with open floor all round so that people can walk about it and look through it from any side.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. The length of the rods is set at order to the drop the room needs, and the band and rods can be finished in this warm bronze tone, a polished silver tone or black. The globe can be tinted smoke, blue or green instead of clear, and the bowl at its foot made in another colour to suit. It is lifted by the band round its middle with hands spread on either side, never by a rod, and it is held level while it is hung. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear globe banded at its middle and hung on two rods, this pod is filed with our acrylic sculptures, our metal sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
